Common Incontinence Problems:

  • Leaking urine unexpectedly

  • Leaking urine through clothes or onto bed linen despite wearing a pad

  • unable to make it to the toilet in time

  • Constipation

  • Other bowel issues - Irritable bowel, loose bowels

  • A frequent need to pass urine

  • Leaking urine overnight

  • Problems with emptying your bladder or starting to pass urine

  • Bed wetting past the age of 5 years

  • Not toilet trained due to intellectual or physical disability but wanting to try

  • Sensory issues with toileting

  • Living with a urinary catheter or condom drainage but needing to teach your carers how to assist you with this

  • Issues with urinary catheter or condom drainage such as leaking
